Brighten up the new normal with a gorgeous handloom saree!
Take a break from boring t-shirts and grab-it tops with a beautifully draped, handloom saree for your next zoom meeting. No attire is more formal, elegant and powerful than the saree – which we all take for granted.
“We need to make our handloom tradition the centrepiece of fashion for India and the world.” – tweeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of the first National Handloom Day.
Conceived and promoted by Bangalorean Devika Ramarathnam, Ithy-ADee ‘s sole purpose is to promote the second largest occupation of India and make it a popular choice of attire with the youngsters.
Our two-fold vision : To promote Indian weavers by providing them with a platform to showcase their breath-taking art ; To reacquaint Indians and the world at large to the rich vibrancy and diversity of Indian handloom.
Fall in Love with Handwoven Drapes
Ithy-ADiva Speaks....
When you drape a saree, you are not just wearing it but also promoting a story, steeped deep in your heritage and culture! The weavers often ignored from the limelight but their art form comes to the forefront and inspires awe. This storytelling and empowerment of Indian weavers and culture is what I love about Ithy-Adee! I have been a customer of Ithy-Adee from the time it started and have always been happy with the quality of products and customer service experience! Devika’s passion and personal touch to each interaction is an added bonus!

“Wanted to share. Really loving the blouse. I have tried it with unimaginable combinations. It has been thumbs up all the time.”
We love this Supraja!

Hi Devika, I finally managed to wear the linen sari picked up from you today. The sari drapes like a dream and I got so many compliments for the colour of the sari. Despite the glut of linen saris in the market, I am yet to come across one that even comes close to this. Attaching a picture, not the best of the shots, paired it with a pen kalamkari blouse..

As a handloom lover I am super excited each time Devika releases a new collection at Ithy-Adee. I have bought some beautiful Chettinad cotton sarees from her for myself and my family. I am very happy with the quality as well as the pricing. I appreciate the fact that Ithy-Adee tries to bring together a wide range of genuine handlooms from various States of India, and in the process supports our handloom weavers.

I have been a customer of Ithy-ADee for more than 5 years now. When I buy from Ithy-ADee, I am more than sure that it is an authentic handwoven that I am buying at a very reasonable price. There are times that I have asked for something specific like the ahimsa silk by Kusuma Rajaiah or the endearing double ikkat silk by Puttapakka weaver. Devika has woven her magic for me!
